About ValenceValence was created for people whose health stories don't fit neatly into a single box.My training and experience span therapeutic nutrition, botanical medicine, functional immunology, health education, coaching, and integrative approaches to complex health. I have a particular interest in biotoxin and environmentally acquired illness, including mycotoxin-related illness and complex vector-borne infections, and in cases where immune, neurologic, endocrine, metabolic, and other systems overlap.My approach is trauma-informed and recognizes the emotional, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of living with complex chronic illness. My background includes mental health coaching and Christian spiritual care, which can be incorporated when desired while respecting each client's individual beliefs and priorities, even when they differ from my own.I bring these perspectives together with careful review of the available evidence and a willingness to look deeply at complicated cases without easy assumptions—looking for meaningful connections across the whole picture, making complex information more understandable, and developing individualized supportive strategies that fit within a client's existing medical care.Valence does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace medical care.
